Contact and transfer enquiries

A transfer enquiry also includes your route, dates and times, passenger count, vehicle preference and any hire duration, return journey, flight number or notes you provide.

Fields marked as required are needed to process your request. Without these details, we may be unable to respond or prepare a quotation. Processing for steps you request before entering a contract is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General and business correspondence is processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Enquiry storage and email

Your enquiry is saved in our enquiry database, hosted on Upstash Redis, together with its reference, submission time, originating website and email delivery status. It is sent to the MyChauffeur team for handling, and a confirmation is sent to your email address. Authorised staff and the technical service providers supporting hosting, database operation and email delivery process the information needed for their respective tasks.

Information provided in an enquiry is used to handle that request and related correspondence. Please avoid including sensitive information or full passenger lists in an initial message.

Address suggestions

The transfer enquiry form uses Google Places to suggest addresses. Search text is sent through our server to Google after you enter at least three characters. Selecting a suggestion retrieves its address details; the selected location may help narrow subsequent suggestions to the relevant area. You can also enter addresses manually.

This supports the route information requested for your quotation under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Google processes the search information under its own privacy terms, which also explain processing locations and international transfers.

WhatsApp contact

The WhatsApp button opens a contact panel. When you choose to start a chat, you leave this website and open WhatsApp. WhatsApp then processes technical information and the messages you send under its privacy terms. You can also contact us by phone, email or the contact form.

We validate form entries and use a hidden spam field, hashed technical identifiers and temporary request counters to protect the forms against abuse and duplicate submissions. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in secure operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Expired abuse-prevention counters are removed automatically.

The page where you first arrived, referral source and recognised campaign information may accompany your enquiry so we can understand which service or campaign led to your request. These details are carried through website links and saved with the enquiry. This supports our legitimate interest in understanding and handling incoming enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and browser storage

Information about browser storage and any optional analytics, together with available preference controls, is provided on the cookie information page. Form entries are not saved in browser storage; if submission fails, they remain in the current form so you can retry.
